Benches, tables, shelving and custom displays built by hand from salvaged copper pipe and reclaimed wood. Every joint is soldered by hand, and no two pieces come out the same.

Grounded in the work
Every piece of copper already has a story. My job is to give it a new one.
County Copper Werx started with a pile of copper pipe that was too good to scrap. Lines pulled out of old houses, leftovers from jobs, fittings that had already done decades of work. Each length came with its own tool marks and color.
Instead of sending it off to be melted down, it gets cut, fitted and sweat-soldered by hand into things you live with: a bench by the door, a table next to the couch, a lit shelf on the wall. The frames are paired with reclaimed and live-edge wood, so every piece balances the cool, bright metal with something warm and natural.
The logo says it best. Two halves in one circle, each carrying a little of the other. That is how the work gets done too: slowly, with a clear head, and with respect for the materials.

Live-Edge Entry Bench
A hand-soldered copper frame carries a thick live-edge seat and a rough-hewn backrest. The rails underneath hold boots and shoes by the door.
Custom Business Display
A countertop or showroom stand with your company name and logo engraved into the header board.
Two-Tier Side Table
Bright polished copper, dark wood shelves and a rail across the top. Sized for a bedside, entry or reading chair.
Lighted Wall Shelf
Torch-finished wood shelves on copper uprights, topped with an engraved sign and a working Edison bulb lamp.
From salvage to finished piece
How a piece gets made
Slow hands, clear head.

Salvage
Copper pipe and fittings are rescued from renovations and job sites before they get scrapped.

Clean
Old solder, flux and grime come off. The honest marks of age stay.
- 03
Cut & fit
Each length is measured, cut and dry-fit until the frame sits square and true.
- 04
Sweat
Every joint is sweat-soldered with a torch, the way copper has been joined for a century.
- 05
Wood & finish
Reclaimed or live-edge wood is sanded, torched or stained, then set into the frame.
A living finish
Copper changes with you
Unsealed copper reacts with air, moisture and touch. It darkens from bright pink-orange to bronze and brown, and outdoors it slowly turns the soft green you see on old rooftops.
Every piece can be sealed to hold its shine, or left raw so it ages along with your home. Just say which you'd like when you order.
Nothing alive stays the same color forever.
